OUR PRESIDENT
Tamara Staley
Tamara Staley was initiated in Nu Phi City-Wide Chapter in Spring 1994. She is a Diamond Life Member and since initiation, has been actively engaged in the Columbus (OH) Alumnae Chapter’s activities, events, and programs.
Her chapter leadership experience includes First Vice President, Second Vice President, Recording Secretary, Membership Chair, Risk Management Co-Chair, EMBODI Chair, Social Action Co-Chair, and Project D.E.L.T.A.A. Co-Chair.
Tamara’s commitment to the organization is demonstrated by continuous leadership, supporting chapter initiatives, and committee involvement with International Awareness and Involvement, Delta GEMS, Delta Academy, and Physical and Mental Health. Tamara takes pride in the opportunities she had to lead collegiate members. With over 17 years of collegiate advising and support experience, she successfully served as a Secondary Advisor to the Nu Phi City-Wide Chapter and direct leadership and support to the Pi Kappa and Epsilon Iota Chapters. In addition to being elected as the Columbus (OH) Alumnae Chapter President, Tamara currently serves on the Midwest Region’s Special Events Committee.
Tamara is a Clinical Specialty Liaison for a Fortune 100 global health care organization that focuses on integrated health care, education, and research. She is an award-winning sales professional recognized for her astute leadership and experience.
Tamara obtained her Bachelors of Administration degree and Masters of Business Administration degree from Otterbein University. She co-founded the African American Alumni Network at her alma mater. She is a lifetime member of the National Black MBA Association and loves to travel, play cards and spend time with friends and family.
Tamara’s theme for the 2021-2023 biannual is “Celebrate Sisterhood, Elevate Community,” -which expresses the embodiment of who we are as an organization focused on Sisterhood, Scholarship, and Service.
