A conference providing career knowledge and experiences for young women who are interested in the medical field through interaction with leaders within the field. Young women in grades seven through 10 are encouraged to apply.
Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy
A program that serves as a catalyst for academic excellence among young African-American girls between the ages 11 and 14. The program is designed to address the educational and social development needs of middle school girls focusing on science, technology, engineering, and math skills.
Dr. Jeanne L. Noble Delta GEMS
A program that serves as a catalyst for young African-American girl between the ages of 14 and 18 to enhance their abilities to achieve academic excellence. GEMS is an acronym for Growing and Empowering Myself Successfully. The program is designed to develop strong, confident and respectful young ladies by striving to prepare them to take an active role in their success and in the community.
Delta Legends Scholarship
The Columbus (OH) Alumnae and the Delta Foundation of Greater Columbus Delta Legends Scholarship is available for qualified, high school graduating seniors in the Central Ohio area. This scholarship was created to honor members of the Columbus (OH) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. who have made significant impact in our organization. The scholarship is intended to help reduce the cost of college education for deserving students who are members of the 2022 graduating class.
Completed, signed applications and all required documents must be submitted by January 10, 2022. Incomplete applications and applications received after January 6, 2023, will not be considered.

School counselors and/or members of the Columbus (OH) Alumnae Chapter are encouraged to recommend
students of the Greater Columbus area who meet the scholarship requirements.
The scholarship deadline is Friday, March 24th, 2023.

EMBODI
A program that serves to address various issues impacting the African-American male between the ages of 11 and 17. EMBODI is an acronym for Empowering Males to Build Opportunities for Developing Independence. The curriculum addresses issues related to STEM education, leadership, healthy lifestyle choices, character, ethics, college readiness, fiscal management, civic engagement, and service learning.
Shirley Chisholm Conference for Girls in Government
A conference dedicated to inspiring young women to pursue the highest level of public service, advocacy, and leadership in government careers. Young women in grades sixth through 10th from all backgrounds in public, private, parochial charter and home schools are invited to apply. The 2020 conference "Defending our Freedom" will focus on women in the Military and Law Enforcement.
V.I.O.L.E.T.: Victoriously Improving Obesity by Losing weight & Exercising Together
A program created by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, Columbus (Oh) Alumnae Chapter. The purpose of the program is to promote healthy eating, healthy lifestyle, and health awareness specifically within our youth.
